Join us as we take a drive to Wagoner Ok on Thursday August 12, 2021 to see the worlds largest operating steam locomotive – the Union Pacific 4014 "Big Boy" as it makes its 2021 tour across the Midwest. This is the only operating Big Boy of the 25 built starting in 1942.
The train will be touring ten Midwest states in August and September and making a limited number of stops in Oklahoma. (Vinita, Pryor, Wagoner, Muskogee, and McAlister).
Let me know if you would be interested in driving down to Wagoner on Thursday August 12. We can meet at Jackie Cooper and drive down the Creek Nation and Muskogee turnpikes to highway 51 to view the train as it pulls into town. The train will only be there for 15 minutes so its not a long time.
If you are a big kid at heart, this is your chance to show your grandchildren the largest steam locomotive ever built at a massive 1.2 million pounds.

Depart Jackie Cooper: 11:30am
Arrive Wagoner/ look for parking 12:15pm
Train arrives: 12:45pm
Train departs: 1:00pm
Head back to Tulsa or lunch: 1:10pm
